School Council

School CouncilSchool CouncilAt Forest Moor School, the voice of the young people is important and so we have a School Council. The structure of the school council underpins the democratic values with council representatives being annually elected through an in-school voting process.

The School Council is made up of a representative from each Key Stage. Their aim is to represent all pupils with a view to positive change. They help everyone to make decisions to make the school better and also help to look after the school and the equipment in it.

The Deputy Headteacher,  Head of Inclusion, and a Parent Governor attend the meetings to ensure the young people feel supported and assured that their new ideas, concerns and any other matters are shared with the Senior Leadership Team.
